Accountability Is Empowerment

Is there anything more empowering than being held accountable for your reality?

Is there anything more powerful than being told you are the one holding onto the suffering?

If there anything more potent than being shown you have the reins of change?

I know the times this mirror has been shown to me, it hurt. I was blaming and seeking the person to "take my side" and see the pain I was carrying and pity me for my story. But that only adds to disempowerment.

We can get attached to the story, addicted to the normalcy of drama and the cycles of pain. Bitching, gossip, family feuds.

We don't understand what is means to let go, we have never been shown how to free ourselves, only how to numb.

Until one day we decide to stop, we get shown there is another way, to decide to align to joy and freedom and truth.

We take accountability for our part. For our karma, our cycles and our beliefs. We stop projecting and start observing.

In accountability lays freedom and empowerment.

We are moving from victim to healer, one step at a time...
